3D printing scifi shipping containers - Part 3

Continuing on from the previous posts, I've now printed a few test pieces.  There are still a few tweaks to make as I resize various components.  The first bit actually finished is the doors.  I'm quite chuffed at how these have turned out.  


Second one is on the printer.  This is printed at 200 microns, so not a high res print.  Took just over 2hours.

  1. Looks good! Nice thing about terrain pieces, you don't have to go overboard on the detail/resolution. Good stuff!

    @ Mordian7th, I agree which is why I don't like the GW crates. They just went too far with the detail IMHO.

    @ Siph, those Gamemat.eu crates do look good, a bit of paint and transfers and they will fit the setting well.

    I've finished the design and will be printing the rest of the parts over the next few days and I've started work on several other designs, Zone Mortalis and a version of the Anphelion base.
