I've decided to take part in the annual inter forum painting contest on Bolter and Chainsword.  The forum I'm representing is the Age of Darkness (AoD).  The completion runs from 15-May to 15-Aug this year.  You vow up to five vows (max 3000pts per vow) in the comp.  if you finish you vows, your points are counted.  If now they are all lost.

Here is my first vow.

Legion Glaive, armoured ceramite - 650pts

Legion Sicaran, Auxiliary drive, las cannon sponsons, armoured ceramite - 205pts

Legion Tactical Support Squad; extra marine, 6 x Volkite caliver, melta bombs, artificer armour - 160pts

Legion Heavy Support Squad; 5 x Autocannon, augury scanner - 165pts

Legion Heavy Support Squad; 5 x missile launchers, flak missiles, augury scanner, hardened armour, artificer armour - 250pts

The total for my first vow is 1430pts.

So that's it for the moment.  Next job is to lay down the silver base coat...

Today's post is another short one to show you where I'm upto with the Alpha Legion Army I'm building.

So getting there, I still have a load of stuff to build.  A legion glaive, a Landraider proteus, 16 more marines, 9 more head hunters, 8 breaching marines, 8 Terminators, 5 Marie's with auto cannons, a dreadnought or two and 4 marines with volkites Culverins.
